The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and optimizing PL/SQL solutions supporting large-scale airline transactional systems.The role involves working with complex reservation, inventory, passenger, fare, ticketing, and payment data, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and system performance. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
- Develop and tune complex SQL queries for large transactional databases
- Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and optimization
- Analyze and resolve data discrepancies related to PNR, fares, bookings, ticketing, and payments
- Support data integrity, audit, and compliance requirements
- Work with high-volume, high-transaction production systems
- Collaborate with application, business, and technical teams to resolve database-related issues
- Contribute to reliable and scalable database solutions for airline systems Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL developmentStrong knowledge of relational database designExpertise in SQL query optimization and performance tuningExperience with large-scale, high-transaction production systemsStrong understanding of database indexing and optimization techniquesAirline domain knowledge is a strong advantage, particularly PNR, fare/ticketing, inventory, reservation, and passenger data
