Site Civil Engineer

Job Description:Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.Monitor subcontractors, site staff, and labor productivity to ensure timely project delivery.Track progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.Review shop drawings, material submittals, and RFIs before consultant submission.Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material deliveries and minimize wastage.Verify executed quantities and support subcontractor payment certifications and variations.Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and UAE authorities (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).Conduct regular coordination meetings to resolve technical and site issues.Implement QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications.Enforce HSE requirements and promote a zero-accident culture.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.Candidate Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 10 years of construction experience with residential/commercial projects.Strong UAE construction experience and knowledge of local authority requirements.Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera P6, and engineering software.Ability to interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.Immediate availability in the UAE and a valid UAE driving license preferred.
