We create innovative and sustainable solutions for our customers to answer society's needs today and in the future.We are looking for a Technical Service Manager HPC MEA who can support business growth through formulation development, technical expertise, customer collaboration, and application innovation across the Home & Personal Care market in the Middle East and Africa region.In your future role as Technical Service Manager, you will:Develop and evaluate Home & Personal Care formulations using Nouryon technologies and products.Generate technical data and application insights to demonstrate the value and performance advantages of Nouryon products compared to competitive solutions.Design and execute laboratory experiments, performance studies, and customer-focused development projects.Develop prototypes and conduct comparative testing to support product positioning, customer recommendations, and market growth opportunities.Analyze samples and products to determine chemical and physical properties, providing technical recommendations and solutions.Perform daily laboratory activities, including sample preparation, testing, documentation, and reporting.Build technical expertise and application knowledge in new and emerging Home & Personal Care segments.Plan, organize, and execute laboratory trials and development programs to support customer and business objectives.Interpret test results, prepare technical reports, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.Provide technical troubleshooting and application support to customers, distributors, and commercial teams.Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards, procedures, and best practices.Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Business Development teams to support customer projects and market initiatives.Support regional trade shows, customer seminars, distributor events, and industry conferences through technical presentations and demonstrations.Great if you haveStrong knowledge of Home Care and Personal Care formulations and application technologies.Experience in formulation development, performance testing, and laboratory operations.Ability to troubleshoot formulation challenges and provide customer-focused technical solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a scientific and data-driven approach.Experience working closely with commercial teams to support business development activities.Effective communication and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience supporting customers across multiple countries and cultures.We believe you are...Customer-focused and solution-oriented.Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently.Analytical with strong attention to detail.Innovative and eager to explore new technologies and applications.Collaborative and capable of building strong relationships across teams and customers.Accountable and committed to delivering high-quality technical support.Adaptable and willing to take ownership of challenges and opportunities.We believe you bringBachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.3-5 years of experience in Product Development, Technical Service, Application Development, or Laboratory Operations within the Home & Personal Care industry.Strong formulation development and laboratory testing experience.Proven ability to independently perform laboratory trials, testing, and analysis.Experience in interpreting data and converting technical findings into practical customer solutions.Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.Knowledge of Arabic, French, or African languages would be advantageous.Willingness to travel within the Middle East and Africa region to support customers, distributors, exhibitions, and technical events.We offer youAt Nouryon, we not only offer an exciting role and great colleagues, but also benefits in addition to your salary.Are you passionate about sustainability, innovation, safety, and collaboration? The role reports to the Sales Leader, HPC MEA/Turkey.
