🚢 WE’RE HIRING | Chief Accountant – NVOCC / Liner Shipping📍 Location: Dubai, UAE | In-officeWe are looking for a strategic, analytical, and hands-on Chief Accountant to lead financial controls, optimize fund management, and oversee a global network of shipping agents.If you have strong experience in NVOCC or liner shipping, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-volume financial operations, we’d love to hear from you!🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesManage and resolve Statements of Accounts (SoA) across 40+ international shipping agents.Oversee financial accounting for a container fleet exceeding 20,000 TEUs.Control and audit port charges, container Maintenance & Repair (M&R), storage, demurrage, and related receivables/payables.Manage regional treasury, cash flow, working capital, and multi-currency transactions.Ensure compliance with agency agreements and applicable UAE financial regulations.🔹 What We’re Looking For7+ years of core accounting experience.At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in the UAE NVOCC or liner shipping industry.Strong knowledge of agency agreements, port disbursement accounts (DA), agent reconciliation, and container life-cycle costing.Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in shipping ERP systems.Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.🎯 Ideal Candidate: A detail-oriented finance professional who can take ownership of complex reconciliations, resolve financial disputes, and drive effective financial controls in a fast-paced shipping environment.📩 Interested or know someone who would be a great fit?
