ERP Project Manager (Dynamics 365)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade and business transformation programme for an established organisation in the UAE.This is a high-impact role responsible for managing the end-to-end ERP upgrade, covering finance, supply chain, reporting, systems integration and business process improvements.The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, IT teams, external implementation partners and key business stakeholders to ensure the programme is delivered successfully, on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the full lifecycle of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central upgrade, from initial planning through implementation, go-live and post-implementation support.Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, milestones and deliverables.Oversee project governance, risk management, reporting and stakeholder communications.Manage relationships with external system integrators, technology vendors and internal project teams.Coordinate business requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design and system configuration.Oversee data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and validation.Manage system integrations and ensure alignment across finance, supply chain and operational functions.Lead system testing activities, including integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing.Drive change management, user training and business readiness initiatives.Manage go-live planning, system cutover and post-implementation stabilisation.Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, operational efficiency, automation and business processes.Provide regular progress updates and recommendations to senior management.Experience & RequirementsMinimum 10+ years of ERP project management experience, including at least two full lifecycle ERP implementations.Strong hands-on experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV upgrade projects.Proven track record managing complex ERP implementations or transformation programmes.Experience overseeing external implementation partners, system integrators and cross-functional project teams.Strong understanding of ERP architecture, system integrations, data migration and testing methodologies.Experience working across finance, operations and supply chain functions.Good understanding of core financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks and dependencies.Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies.Excellent stakeholder management, communication and senior-level reporting skills.Ideal Candidate ProfileWe are particularly interested in speaking with ERP Project Managers who have successfully delivered Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or NAV upgrades within complex business environments.Candidates should demonstrate a combination of strong technical ERP delivery experience, commercial awareness and the ability to manage senior stakeholders.Experience leading finance-driven ERP transformation programmes and working with international or multi-functional teams would be particularly relevant.
