Financial Controller

Our client are a global Automotive Tier 1 supplier who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller for their production plant which has around 150 employees based in the West Midlands.This is a key role within the finance function, offering the opportunity to take ownership of financial control, reporting and business performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.We are keen to hear from experienced Financial Controllers, as well as ambitious Management Accountants who are ready to take the next step in their career.The RoleTake responsibility for the day-to-day financial control and reporting activities.Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes.Oversee management accounts, financial statements and reporting packs.Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.Provide financial analysis and insight to support operational and commercial decision-making.Monitor costs, margins and manufacturing performance.Ensure robust financial controls, processes and compliance.Support internal and external audits.Partner with operational and senior management teams to drive business performance.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.About YouIt is preferred that the candidate is qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Experience within a manufacturing or automotive environment is essentialStrong management accounting and financial reporting experience.Good understanding of financial controls and month-end processes.Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable working with senior stakeholders.Strong communication and leadership skills.
