Our portfolio spans luxury hotels and estates, leisure, operating-company shareholdings and public-market investments. We are entering a period of significant transaction activity and are hiring a senior leader to drive it.About the RoleThe Chief of Staff & Head of Investments is the principal's senior right hand. You lead our transactions, oversee the commercialisation of our hotel and estate investments, own our banking and holding structure, and run the principal's priorities and the family office team. You report directly to the principal and manage a small team from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesTransactionsLead complex transactions from the principal's side, including listed-company M&A: workplan, valuation, financing structure and executionDirect and hold accountable investment banks, lawyers, tax advisers and auditorsRepresent the principal in adviser and counterparty meetingsHotel and estate investmentsWrite and own the investment thesis and business plan for each assetOversee commercialisation through operators and general managers: revenue strategy, pricing and distribution, occupancy, ADR and RevPAR, F&B, staffing and guest experienceRun monthly performance reviews against budget and hold management to accountNegotiate and manage hotel management, operator and partner agreementsGate capital expenditure against the investment caseBanking, financing and structureMap and rationalise the group's holding structure with tax and legal advisersLead lender and private banking relationships, from term sheets to covenantsRun liquidity planning for the principal and the family officeRepresent the principal as a shareholder in operating-company holdingsCommunicationsAct as spokesperson on our investments with media, partners, lenders and local stakeholdersPresent investment cases to co-investors, lenders and boardsChief of StaffRun the principal's priorities, weekly operating rhythm and decision follow-throughPrepare briefings for key meetings and board sessionsLead and develop the family office teamWhat You Bring8–12 years in investment banking, private equity or principal investing, at VP or Director levelHands-on execution of listed-company M&A, ideally a public-to-privateOperational understanding of hotels: P&L drivers, revenue management, operator agreements and GM performance managementStrong modelling, valuation and debt structuring skillsExperience leading a teamConfidence and credibility as a spokesperson with media, investors and public stakeholdersAbsolute discretion and the judgement to work directly for a principalStrong advantages: Danish language, hotel asset management or operations experience, prior family office or Chief of Staff role, and exposure to South Africa or the UAE.What We OfferA principal-side seat with real ownership across a high-profile, international portfolioCompetitive cash package: base salary, performance bonus and transaction completion bonusBased in London, Copenhagen or Dubai, with regular travel to Copenhagen and South AfricaStart in November 2026; immediate or short-notice availability preferredAll applications are handled in strict confidence.
