HSE Trainer/Industrial Safety Training Specialist– 6 Months Contract

Mandatory – 5–15 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing operations, maintenance, HSE, safety management or technical training.

Responsibilities

Deliver a portfolio of 40+ safety training modules covering general workplace safety and site-specific safety tools and procedures.Conduct classroom, practical and on-site training for employees, contractors, technicians, operators and supervisors.Adapt training methods to suit different audiences, literacy levels and levels of English proficiency.Promote hazard identification, near-miss reporting, safe decision-making and stop-work authority.Use real-life industrial scenarios, practical demonstrations and workplace examples to improve safety awareness and behaviour.Conduct follow-up coaching, toolbox talks and on-site observations to reinforce learning.Assess learners’ knowledge and practical competency, maintaining accurate assessment and completion records.Maintain training attendance and completion data in the Learning Management System (LMS) within agreed timelines.Coordinate with the training team on schedules, venues, equipment and learner nominations.Monitor training effectiveness, collect feedback and recommend improvements to training content.Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures, safety requirements and applicable Abu Dhabi OSH requirements.Demonstrate strong safety leadership and support the development and coaching.
