Our client, a luxury furniture manufacturing firm, is seeking to hire an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Project Manager to support the Showroom Manager in the day-to-day operations of their flagship furniture showroom in Dubai. This is a critical, hands-on role. The ideal candidate will bring strong industry knowledge, deep local market experience, and exceptional organizational and communication skills to ensure seamless showroom performance from pre-opening through to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Operations & StrategyServe as the primary point of contact and support facilitator to the internal team in the Manager's absence.Act as a key decision-making advisor to the Showroom Manager.Continuously identify and implement ways to improve operational efficiency.Ensure quality service standards are implemented and maintained.Project & Technical CoordinationManage project timelines and budgets, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.Provide technical coordination and collaborate closely with the production team on project development.Conduct preliminary site visits, draft reports, and manage the snagging process.Coordinate with local and international internal and external stakeholders.Inventory & Vendor ManagementAssist in sourcing, selecting, and tracking furniture and accessory inventory.Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.Client ManagementLiaise with clients, providing professional and knowledgeable support during the pre-sale, during-sale, and post-sale phases.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Degree in Technical Design or a related field (Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of formal education).Experience: 2–4+ years in a similar client-facing role, preferably within the furniture, interior contracting, or high-end retail sectors.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of design and estimation software is a strong plus.Key Skills & Competencies:Proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and budgets with meticulous attention to detail.Confident, professional client-facing communication skills (written and verbal).Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; able to work independently and take initiative.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts under pressure.A proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and process improvement.Awareness of industry quality standards.Well-groomed, professional, and a strong team player.
