SAP Functional Consultant / ERP Technical Consultant

Role DescriptionWe are seeking technically proficient, analytical, and solution-oriented professionals for the positions of SAP Functional Consultant / ERP Technical Consultant. These roles focus on enterprise resource planning systems, business process optimization, system implementation, technical integration, and application support. Successful candidates will help organizations improve operational efficiency by aligning enterprise systems with business requirements, maintaining reliable system functionality, and supporting continuous digital transformation.SAP Functional Consultants work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective SAP system configurations and solutions. Responsibilities include gathering business requirements, analyzing existing workflows, documenting functional specifications, configuring SAP modules, and supporting system implementation and enhancement projects. They may work across areas such as finance, procurement, sales, materials management, production planning, or human resources, depending on the organization's needs. Additional duties include conducting functional testing, supporting user acceptance testing, investigating system issues, preparing user documentation, and delivering training to business users. SAP Functional Consultants also collaborate with technical teams to validate solutions, manage configuration changes, and ensure that system processes align with business objectives.ERP Technical Consultants focus on the technical development, customization, integration, and maintenance of enterprise resource planning platforms. Responsibilities include developing technical solutions, configuring system components, supporting data migration, troubleshooting application issues, and integrating ERP systems with other business applications. They may work with programming languages, APIs, databases, reporting tools, and system interfaces to enhance platform functionality. For SAP environments, relevant activities may include ABAP development, enhancement implementation, form development, interface configuration, and performance optimization. ERP Technical Consultants also support technical testing, system upgrades, deployment activities, documentation, and the resolution of application defects.Both positions require strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and an understanding of how enterprise systems support business operations. Professionals in these roles contribute to system reliability, process automation, data consistency, and the successful delivery of technology solutions.QualificationsDegree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.Understanding of ERP systems, enterprise business processes, and application lifecycle management.Familiarity with SAP modules, configuration, business process mapping, or functional requirements analysis is an advantage.Knowledge of ERP technical development, system integration, APIs, databases, or programming concepts.Familiarity with SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, SAP S/4HANA, SQL, or related technologies is beneficial, depending on the role.Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot system issues, and document technical or functional solutions.Understanding of system testing, data migration, change management, and deployment procedures.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant system documentation or project collaboration tools.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate with business users, developers, project teams, and other stakeholders while maintaining accuracy and service quality.
