Interior Designer (Sales) (Joinery & Fit-Out)Shaped AE – Dubai, United Arab Emirates (On-site)About The JobShaped AE is a British-founded interior design and joinery company with its own in-house manufacturing facility in DIP 1. We specialise in bespoke furniture, joinery and luxury fit-outs.We’re looking for an Interior Designer (Sales) with a keen eye for detail and a good knowledge of materials. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and guide material selection and sampling. You’ll also work closely with our in-house drafting team to turn your designs into technical drawings, making sure every finished piece meets both design and functional standards.What You Will DoPrepare moodboards and design concepts for client presentations.Manage material selection and sampling with clients.Work with our in-house drafting team on joinery designs, including layouts, shop drawings, appliance placements and material specifications.Coordinate designs with MEP (plumbing and electrical) requirements.Work with our production team to make sure every project is built accurately.Visit sites to meet clients and check on ongoing projects.RequirementsNative or fluent English speaker.Valid UAE driving license and own vehicle.Minimum 1 year of experience in joinery and fit-out design.Knowledge of materials and finishes, including veneer, MDF and marble.Understanding of space planning, ergonomics and modular design.Familiarity with production and installation processes.Strong attention to detail.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.A creative eye for both function and aesthetics.A degree or diploma in Interior Design is an advantage, but not required.
