Solutions Architect

Job description:Application and integration-focused Senior Solution Architect who can own the complete customer transaction from the digital channel through APIs and CDS business services into Emirates enterprise systems and external chauffeur/service-provider platforms.Strong hands-on experience (8+ years) in enterprise application and solution architecture, with significant experience architecting complex, customer-facing digital platforms.Proven experience defining end-to-end solution architecture across web/mobile channels, backend services, integration platforms, enterprise systems and external service providers.Ability to translate business capabilities, functional requirements and customer journeys into scalable, secure and resilient technical solutions.Strong experience defining:Solution ArchitectureApplication ArchitectureIntegration ArchitectureData flows and system interactionsDeployment ArchitectureSecurity ArchitectureStrong understanding of microservices and domain-driven architecture, including service decomposition, bounded contexts, service communication and API contracts.Strong experience with API-first architecture, including:RESTful APIsOpenAPI / SwaggerAPI gatewaysAPI versioningAuthentication and authorisationAPI lifecycle managementStrong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, including synchronous, asynchronous and event-driven integration.Experience architecting solutions using messaging and event technologies such as:KafkaSolaceJMSStrong understanding of enterprise integration platforms such as SnapLogic or equivalent iPaaS technologies.Experience defining architectures for applications built using modern technology stacks such as Java / Spring Boot and React / TypeScript.Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, including:Containers and DockerKubernetes / OpenShiftInfrastructure scalabilityConfiguration and secrets managementHigh availability and resiliencyExperience defining solutions leveraging relational and NoSQL databases, caching and appropriate data storage patterns.Strong understanding of security architecture and secure-by-design principles, including:OAuth 2.0 / OpenID ConnectJWTRole-Based Access ControlCertificates and encryptionSecrets managementData protectionPreferable:Experience architecting airline, travel, transportation, mobility, logistics or complex booking platforms would be highly desirable.Ability to define the end-to-end architecture supporting Chauffeur Drive booking, modification, cancellation and fulfilment journeys.Experience architecting real-time transactional platforms handling availability, eligibility, capacity and service confirmation.Ability to architect solutions supporting complex customer eligibility and business-rule evaluation.Experience designing solutions involving address capture/validation, geolocation, service-area determination, vehicle selection and routing-related services.Strong understanding of integration patterns required across customer-facing channels, reservation systems, loyalty platforms, CRM, payment services and operational fulfilment systems.Experience integrating with external suppliers /service providers, including patterns for handling availability, booking confirmation, failures, retries and reconciliation.
